HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGER
Job Purpose
Reporting to the CEO, the Human Capital Manager will lead the development and execution of BECI’s human capital strategy, ensuring the alignment of HR initiatives with organizational goals. The role encompasses overseeing recruitment, employee wellness, talent management, performance development, and office administration, while fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.
The Job
- The incumbent will further be responsible for, among others, the following:
- Designing and executing the human capital strategy and framework.
- Managing talent acquisition, development, and retention programs.
- Overseeing employee relations, engagement, and wellness initiatives.
- Providing strategic HR advisory to management.
- Ensuring compliance with Botswana labour laws and HR policies.
- Preparing and administering payroll in line with organizational policies.
- Coordinating office administration functions to support business operations.
- Developing departmental budgets and monitoring expenditure.
The Person
- The right candidate should possess the following:
- A Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of post-qualification experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of Botswana’s labour laws and workforce planning.
- Professional membership in an HR body is an added advantage.
