About Us

The main role of the Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance (OR -MUUUB) is to strengthen Good Governance in the operation of Government activities by designing Policies, Laws, Regulations and Procedures for the operation and management of public service activities and building the capacity of Public servants to provide quality services to the citizens. In accordance with the Document on the Distribution of Responsibilities to Ministers as published in the Government Gazette Issue No. 619A&619B dated 30/8/2023, OR-MUUUB has the following responsibilities:-

1. To prepare, update and oversee the implementation of Administrative Policies, e-Government, Public Servants’ Housing, National Archives and Documents, and Human Resource Management in the Public Service;
2. Managing Public Service Administration;
3. Managing performance contracts in the Government;
4. Managing human resource planning and development in the Public Service;
5. Managing the Payroll in the Public Service;
6. Managing Public Service Ethics;
7. To prepare and manage Government operational structures and systems and improve the delivery of Public Service services;
8. Coordinate the establishment and development of Government Agencies;
9. Management and improvements in the Public Service;
10. Supervise the performance and development of human resources in the Office of the President, Public Service Management; and
11. Managing institutions, programs and projects under the Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance.
