UBS TECHNICIAN
Core Responsibilities
-
Fixed and mobile equipment maintenance, service, and inspections
-
Mobile Charging Units (MCU) calibrations
-
Assist Site Manager with engineering projects management
-
Maintenance-related monthly reporting to AECI Botswana, the Group, and the client
-
Maintenance scheduling and forecasting
-
Equipment breakdown and planned maintenance
-
Critical and other spares management
-
Equipment availabilities management
-
Conduct equipment trip tests
-
Centralised blasting system maintenance
-
Maintenance-related store keeping
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Requirements
-
At least a Diploma or NCC in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
-
At least 4 years’ experience in similar, explosives equipment maintenance, environment
-
Knowledge of Mobile Charging Units and pump maintenance
-
Valid class B driver’s license
-
Experience in maintenance of explosives plants
-
Must be a Motswana
-
Must be able to speak Setswana and English fluently
-
Knowledge and experience in AECI products is an added advantage
