About the Company

Vivo Energy Botswana sources, distributes, markets, and supplies Shell branded fuels and lubricants in Botswana. Established in 2012, the company has expanded the Shell retail network and built strong relationships with stakeholders. Vivo Energy Botswana is committed to supporting the community through partnerships with government and the private sector.

Job Purpose

To manage and operate a retail franchise in line with Shell brand standards, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations for efficiency and customer satisfaction

• Recruit, train, and manage staff for high performance

• Implement company policies and operational standards

• Drive sales, manage inventory, and optimize pricing

• Manage costs, budgets, and profit margins

• Engage with customers and build strong community relationships

• Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations

• Monitor market trends and competitors to adapt strategies

Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 years’ experience in retail, business management, or franchising

• Financial stability to meet investment requirements

• Strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and team management abilities

• Business acumen and results-driven mindset

• Knowledge of stock control, merchandising, and sales strategies
