TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF THREE (3) MOTORCYCLES
BACKGROUND
Action Against Hunger-USA is part of the Action Against Hunger International network, which provides development and humanitarian response in over 50 countries worldwide in the sectors of nutrition, health, water/sanitation, food security & Livelihood and protection. Action Against Hunger-USA, an independent NGO, currently manages operations in 8 countries: Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan, Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Zambia & Haiti. Action Against Hunger-USA has over $110 million in programs, and approximately 2500 staff based in the various country offices, headquarters in Washington DC and Operational Centre in Nairobi.
ABOUT THE ACTION AGAINST HUNGER COUNTRY PROGRAM IN ZAMBIA
Action Against Hunger has been operational in Zambia since 2021 implementing both development and humanitarian programmes through a multi-sectoral strategy where Nutrition, Health, Food Security and Livelihoods, WASH and Protection, Gender and psychosocial support are integrated to have a meaningful impact on people’s resilience. Action Against Hunger is registered in Zambia under the Ministry of Ministry of Community Development and Social Services.
Action Against Hunger is implementing a GIZ project called “Climate Resilient Agri-Food Systems (CREATE) in Southern Province (Pemba, Monze and Mazabuka). The goal of the project is to enhance resilience of 4,000 smallholder farmers in close proximity to rehabilitated and newly constructed irrigation infrastructure along the Kafue watershed to avert climate induced hunger and undernutrition in the southern province of Zambia. This will be achieved through the attainment of the two interrelated outcomes/objectives.

Action Against Hunger invites bidders to submit priced quotations for for supply and delivery of three (3) Motorcycles.

NOTES TO THE INVITATION FOR QUOTATION:
i. You must quote for ALL items and quantities indicated in this RFQ.
ii. You should send only one quotation
iii. The prices should be quoted in Zambian Kwacha
iv. Quotation validity is 90 days from the date of submission
v. Evaluation and award of the Purchase Order will be based on competitive offer (price and quality).
vi. Delivery period July 2025
vii. All packing, loading, unloading and transport costs will be the responsibility of the supplier,
viii. This quotation request is not an order and does not commit Action Against Hunger- Zambia on any obligation.
ix. Delivery time or Ex stock + location
x. Risks and insurance related to the transportation of the items to the above-mentioned address will be the responsibility of the supplier
xi. Payment after delivery inspection and acceptance
xii. Payment by bank transfer
xiii. All packing, loading, unloading and transport costs will be the responsibility of the supplier,
Additional Shortlisting Criteria
The following will be used as additional criteria for request for proposals (RFP);
• Certificate of Incorporation of the firm
• Work schedule and planning for deliverables
• Company profile with a list of similar past works done giving evidence and details
• Valid tax compliance certificate

a) Once the proposals are received and opened, bidders shall not be allowed nor permitted to change any content,
b) The closing date for the receipt of request for quotation will close on 21st July 2025.
