Position: Laboratory Assistant – Bagamoyo Sugar Limited

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To perform blood tests, urine analysis, and microbiological cultures to assist in disease diagnosis.

• To ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

• To collect and prepare biological samples for testing while maintaining sterility and safety protocols.

• To assist in the detection and monitoring of infectious diseases.

• To record test results and maintain patient laboratory records for medical reference.

• To keep track of laboratory supplies, reagents, and consumables to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Certificate in Medical Laboratory or related field.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in laboratory procedures.

• Valid practicing license (FRP or ERP).

• Applicant must have NIDA & TIN.

• Introduction letter from local government and two referee letters.
