HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Khwai Private Reserve is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead all human resources operations across our reserve. This role is based in Maun, supporting both office and remote camp teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full HR function including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations

Manage the entire payroll process, including accurate preparation, submission, and statutory compliance

Ensure adherence to Botswana Labour Laws and HR policies

Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR reports

Implement and monitor performance management systems

Support training, development, and staff engagement initiatives

Provide HR advisory support to management and team leaders
-
Coordinate with finance on benefits, leave, and employee cost reporting
Minimum Requirements:
-
Degree in Human Resource Management or related field

Master’s Degree will be an added advantage

Minimum 5 years’ HR experience, including at least 3 years managing payroll

Strong knowledge of Botswana labour legislation

Strong knowledge in SAGE System
-
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
-
High attention to detail and confidentiality in handling employee data
-
Experience in the tourism/hospitality or conservation sector is an advantage
