About Us

BANK OF AFRICA – TANZANIA is a private commercial bank operating in Tanzania servicing retail, SME and Corporate segments. The bank began operations in Tanzania in June 2007 after acquiring Eurafrican Bank which had been operating in Tanzania since September 1994. The idea of the founders of BANK OF AFRICA was to create a truly unique, PAN-AFRICAN bank that embodies the essence of many of our founding fathers.

At the time of acquisition, the Bank had 3 branches in Tanzania. Currently the Bank has a network of 26 branches; 13 in Dar es Salaam, 12 upcountry and 1 Business center in Dar es Salaam.

The bank has a range of services for all segments from accounts, cards, loans, digital banking, treasury and investment.
