Establishment The College of Business Education (CBE) was established in 1965 by the Act of Parliament No. 31 of 1965. The College operates under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The College has four campuses in Dar es salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza and Mbeya

Academic staff Profile Our institution boasts a team of exceptional lecturers and researchers who have received their education from prestigious universities across Asia, Europe, and America. Our academic staff comprises alumni from renowned institutions such as Melbourne University in Australia, KwaZulu-Natal University in South Africa, Alberta University in Canada, Aachen University and Freiburg University in Germany, Stockholm University in Sweden, Dalian University and Dangobei University in China, Eastern Finland University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China, Saint Petersburg State University in Russia, Andhra and Kerala University in India..
Our Products • Our programs focus in Accountancy, Business Administration, Marketing, Information technology, Metrology and Standardization, Tourism and Events Management, Procurement and Supplies Management, Human Resources Management, Business Studies With Education, Records and Archives Management, Digital Marketing, Leadership and Good governance.
• We conduct demand driven consultancy services to both public and private institutions.
• We offer numerous tailor-made short courses in Business, Management, and related fields.
• We conduct Incubation programmes, whereby a total number of 252 students were enrolled in incubation programmes in the year 2023/ 2024.
• We organize public dialogues, forums, and conferences in Business, Management, and related fields
Dispersion of CBE graduates across employment opportunities Based on the Tracer Study report of five years (2016 – 2021), CBE graduates are employed in both public- and private sectors. Data indicate that 36.9% of graduates are employed in the public sector and 19.5% in the private sector takes 19.5% and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) take 1.8%. The remaining 41.8% constitute self-employed and unemployed graduates.
