About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to lead the manufacturing and assembly operations of our electric motorcycle charging stations and automated battery swap cabinets. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, production efficiency, cost control, and the timely delivery of hardware essential to our Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) network. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial production, electromechanical systems, and supplier development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly of electromechanical systems or energy infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in setting up production workshops or assembly lines, especially in a startup or greenfield context.
  • Demonstrated success in supplier development, quality assurance, and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Experience in African or emerging markets is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in production management software and technical drawings.
