ASSISTANT FITTER
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
The Assistant Fitter supports the Fitter in the fitting, assembly, and maintenance of plant equipment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your key accountabilities include:

Assisting in the fitting, assembly, and maintenance of equipment.

Conducting routine inspections and supporting preventive maintenance.

Supporting the Fitter in troubleshooting and repairs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

Trade Test B Certificate in mechanical fitting or Certificate in relevant field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in mining or heavy industry sector.
