ASSISTANT RIGGER
Job Summary
Reporting to Foreman Mechanical, the Assistant Rigger will be responsible for providing support to Artisan Rigger by carrying out inspections and preparing loads for safe lifting and movement of loads and plant Machinery in accordance with operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Inspections and lifting equipment maintenance

Rigging and scaffold services

Loading and unloading material

Safety, health and environmental compliance
Qualifications & Experience

Trade B Certificate in Rigging
-
At least 3 years’ post qualification experience preferably in an underground mining Environment.

2 years’ post qualification experience as a Semi-skilled Rigger preferably in a Mining Environment.

Class B Driver’s License
