Role Overview
The Assistant to Sales Director will support the sales leadership team, manage tender processes, and assist in all aspects of sales administration. A strong familiarity with EGP (Zambian Electronic Government Procurement portal) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Sales Director in daily operations, meeting coordination, report preparation, and follow-ups.

Manage and coordinate tender processes: identify opportunities, prepare documents, submit proposals, and follow up.

Monitor tender platforms, particularly EGP, for relevant opportunities.

Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, guidelines, and company policies.

Maintain communication between sales, procurement, and internal departments for smooth operations.

Keep accurate records of tenders, contracts, and sales transactions.

Prepare reports and presentations for management.

Research market trends, competitor activities, and new bidding opportunities.

Handle confidential information professionally.

Respond promptly to client, partner, and internal queries.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Procurement, or related field preferred.

1–2 years’ experience in tenders, procurement, or sales administration.

Knowledge of EGP (Zambian Procurement Portal) is a strong advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
