Mwanga Hakika Bank Limited is a fully-fledged commercial bank 100% owned by Tanzanians. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Dar es Salaam branch, driving business growth, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Oversee daily branch operations in compliance with BOT regulations and internal policies.

• Ensure operational efficiency, accurate transaction records, and seamless inter-branch processes.

• Prepare periodic and statutory reports for management and the Board.

Business Development & Sales

• Drive sales of banking products and services to grow deposits, loans, and customer base.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the community.

• Monitor product performance and implement growth strategies.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints and maintain high service standards.

• Provide advisory support to customers and staff on financial matters.

• Authorize transactions within set limits.

Team Leadership & Coaching

• Lead, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve sales and service excellence.

• Set and monitor performance targets, providing guidance to improve results.

Financial Management

• Manage branch budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

• Ensure adherence to fiscal plans and optimal resource allocation.

Compliance & Security

• Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML, and other regulatory requirements.

• Safeguard branch assets, systems, and customer information.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years’ banking experience with strong exposure to sales, business development, or branch operations.

• Proven leadership, communication, and networking skills.

• Strong understanding of banking products, operations, and regulations.
