Role Overview:
Coca-Cola Kwanza is seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Lead for Procurement to oversee and drive the procurement function in Tanzania. The role will support business objectives, optimize procurement processes, and ensure alignment with the Group Office CCBA Procurement strategy.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the country procurement vision, targets, and “Ways of Working” aligned with CCBA HQ goals.

Support business plans and strategic initiatives through effective procurement practices.

Participate in the CCBA Procurement Leadership Team and implement key decisions.

Collaborate with GO CCBA teams to create category strategies and align with internal stakeholders.

Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team, including performance management and career development.

Facilitate intra- and inter-country collaboration to drive value creation.

Execute strategic sourcing for Supply Chain MRO, Marketing & Sales, and Professional Services commodities.

Maintain an updated contract repository, monitor supplier performance, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal frameworks, and corporate governance standards.

Develop and monitor procurement budgets, optimizing cost-efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Build strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships while promoting procurement best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

Added advantage: Master’s in Business Management, Finance, or Supply Chain; recognized procurement qualification.

Minimum 8 years of leadership experience, preferably in FMCG or related industries.

Strong business acumen, procurement expertise, and knowledge of legal contracting.

Skilled negotiator with the ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and complex situations.

Technically proficient, computer literate, and able to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

High integrity, assertiveness, and ability to influence and drive results.
