Job Summary
DCB Bank is seeking a qualified Credit Analyst to join its Head Office team in Dar es Salaam. The Credit Analyst will manage the end-to-end process of credit applications and related transactions, ensuring sound credit risk assessment, compliance, and administration. The role reports to the Head of Corporate Banking.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct credit assessments and appraisals.

Defend credit proposals at various review levels.

Handle documentation, disbursement, and administrative account matters.

Ensure turnaround time for credit applications meets agreed targets.

Contribute to managing, monitoring, and controlling the lending portfolio.

Liaise with professionals such as advocates, accountants, valuers, and insurers.

Analyze financial statements and identify weaknesses in credit processing.

Follow up on audit reports related to credit applications and loan appraisals.

Recommend or organize training to address identified gaps in credit management.
Candidate Requirements
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; or minimum 1 year of experience in credit management from a reputable commercial bank.
Skills & Attributes:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
