Job Purpose
The Driver will be responsible for safe driving, vehicle maintenance, and messenger services. The role also supports logistics coordination and the monitoring of occupational health and safety (OHS) matters at branch offices.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver payment transfers to banks/suppliers and conduct cash purchases for office expenses

Deliver insurance documents to intermediaries, clients, and stakeholders
-
Distribute incoming and outgoing mail as required
-
Deliver correspondences to government authorities
-
Facilitate airport pick-ups and transport for directors and officials during official visits
-
Ensure vehicles are serviced and maintained on schedule; arrange minor repairs when necessary
-
Check oil, tires, and maintain vehicles in clean and roadworthy condition
-
Maintain an accurate vehicle logbook and prepare vehicle maintenance reports

Assist departments in logistics support when required

Track and report on OHS audits at branch offices, share findings with managers

Prepare manual OHS inspection reports for the task force and line manager

Deposit transfer documents and bank cheques daily

Perform other duties assigned by management

Deliver on performance requirements as defined in the department strategy map, balanced scorecard, and personal scorecard
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
-
Minimum 2 years’ driving experience with a reputable organization

Valid driving license (Class C3 preferred) with a clean record
-
Minimum education: Form Four certificate with passes in English and Kiswahili
-
Excellent communication skills (English & Kiswahili)

Knowledge of Britam products is an advantage

Basic computer skills (MS Office, Internet)
