Estimation / Tender Engineer – Mechanical & Plumbing
This is a full-time on-site role located in Nairobi County, Kenya, for an Estimation/Tender Engineer in Mechanical & Plumbing. The Estimation/Tender Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, reviewing project specifications, and creating tender documents. Daily tasks include analyzing project requirements, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids. Additionally, the role involves inspecting project sites, maintaining records, and providing technical support.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering.
- Plumbing and HVAC knowledge.
- Experience with Estimation and Budgeting of Mechanical and Plumbing items.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in the MEP industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Fire fighting items, plumbing items, HVAC items.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
