FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
About the Role
A growing and dynamic motorcycle brand is seeking a Field Service Technician to take full ownership of service quality, maintenance, and technical support for motorcycles across Botswana. This is a mobile, field-based role suited to a disciplined, self-motivated technician with strong hands-on skills and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on motorcycles both in-field and at designated workshops.
- Travel nationwide to provide technical support to fleet operators and individual clients.
- Accurately complete digital job cards, quotations, invoices, and photographic documentation.
- Maintain detailed and organized service records through a tablet-based system.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and uphold brand standards across all client touchpoints.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience working with motorcycles or small engine systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools, including tablets, service checklists, and photo uploads.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout Botswana.
- Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Experience servicing Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, or similar motorcycle brands. - Background in mobile servicing, fleet maintenance, or field technical operations.
- Experience in fast-paced, client-facing technical environments.
