Job Summary:
FINCA is seeking a Finance Manager to join the finance and administration team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for leading account reconciliation, treasury management, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. The Finance Manager also contributes to strategic financial planning and risk management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting, reconciliation, and treasury operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Supervise postings in general and subsidiary ledgers and ensure timely financial reporting.

Train new finance staff and other departments on accounting and tax-related procedures.

Review cash, bank, and transitory account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain accounting system processes and manage system-related issues.

Prepare timely reports including income statements, balance sheets, ALCO reports, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.

Manage payroll operations and ensure accurate processing of payroll transactions.

Coordinate annual budgets and financial projections; monitor budget implementation and execution.

Support long-term strategic planning and provide input on financial strategies.

Review accounting and treasury policies annually to ensure compliance.

Facilitate internal and external audits in line with FINCA Impact Finance, Central Bank, and tax authority requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent.

MBA is an added advantage.

Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and regulatory reporting, including at least 2 years supervising accounting functions in financial institutions.

Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and microfinance operations.

Familiarity with financial reporting systems and statutory requirements.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
