BAPS SWAMINARAYAN HINDU MISSION, a Hindu Temple located in Gaborone requires services of a well trained ,knowledgeable and relevant experienced HINDU PRIEST to serve in the work of GOD in Swaminarayan Hindu Temple.He must be a HINDU by faith and preferably the follower of LORD SWAMINARAYAN,must have mature understanding of teachings of Lord Swaminarayan and Gunatitanand Swami Maharaj and previous working experience as a PRIEST with one the sisters Baps Swaminarayan Temple is necessary.The Priest must be fully conversant with the Holy Books of VACHANAMRUT,SWAMI NI VATO and other known Hindu Scriptures and able To preach from these books daily during morning and evening services to
the devotees of the above temple.Most of the preachings is in Gujarati and knowledge of Gujarati language is very essential. He must be non-smoker and non-drinker and have knowledge of HINDU RITES and RITUALS. The duties start very early in the morning with waking up of DEITIES OF GOD and Finishes late at night after the DEITIES OF GOD have been retired for the night. The priest is expected to guide and teach young children,youths and adults in ethical and moral behaviour and in uplifting their spiritual knowledge .In addition to the above,the priest will take responsibility in managing and celebrating all Hindu festivals and conduct PUJA( worship rituals) in the temple and outside when invited;hence previous work experience is essential.
