POSITION TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER
LOCATION: BOTSWANA SOCIETY FOR THE DEAF
REPORTS TO: HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
CLOSING DATE: 31 JULY, 2025
The Botswana Society for the Deaf is a dynamic and growing organization committed to excellence and innovation in serving the Deaf community. We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Human Resource Officer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures
•Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
•Maintain and update employee records and HR database
•Coordinate performance management and appraisal systems
•Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR standards
•Support employee welfare and disciplinary processes
•Prepare HR reports and documentation as required
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
•Sound knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices
•Proficiency in MS Office and HR management systems
•Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
