Role Overview

The Inventory Analyst ensures that all physical movements of inventory—including raw materials, finished goods, containers, and pallets—are accurately recorded in Syspro. This role supports stock governance, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance across all AB InBev Tanzania operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Reporting:

  • Conduct pre-stocktake processes and action reports.

  • Facilitate daily/weekly/monthly stock counts of raw materials, finished goods, empties, and pallets.

  • Investigate stock variances and ensure corrective actions are taken.

  • Maintain handheld devices and ensure accuracy of stock count data.

  • Report monthly compliance with inventory policies.

Shipment Reconciliations:

  • Ensure all post-goods issues and deliveries are processed and documented.

  • Follow up on inter-depot shipments and resolve invoice discrepancies.

  • Confirm reconciliation of breakages and missing bottles.

Packaging Interface:

  • Balance inventory with packaging team daily.

  • Track cullet and reconcile issued containers versus packed volumes.

Distributor Stock Management:

  • Monitor missing, broken, or foreign surveys and report results daily.

  • Ensure returns are accurately credited and inventory reflects returns.

  • Collaborate with customers on missing or broken items.

Pallet Repairs & Management:

  • Track destruction, repair processes, and contractor performance.

  • Maintain pallet inventory to meet production plans.

  • Review SOPs and set annual repair budgets with KPIs.

Product Quality Maintenance:

  • Apply FEFO principles to stock movements.

  • Ensure blocked stock is physically isolated and updated in Syspro.

  • Collaborate with Trade Quality Specialists to resolve issues.

People Management:

  • Align shop floor teams with goals and routines to drive improvement.

  • Conduct monthly one-on-one reviews and manage performance issues.

  • Lead recruitment, talent pipeline building, and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehousing and inventory management.

  • Proficient in Syspro, Microsoft Office, and Teams.

  • Fluent in English and Swahili.

  • Strong numerical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.

  • High attention to detail, adaptability, and results-oriented mindset.

  • Proven coaching and people management capabilities.
