Job Summary
Ecobank Tanzania is looking for a proactive Acquiring Sales & Support Officer to execute sales pipelines for merchant and acquiring products while providing direct customer support. The role focuses on driving transaction volumes, increasing product usage, and ensuring excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Acquisition

Pursue sales leads for both new-to-bank and cross-selling opportunities.

Identify prospects, source clients, and activate merchant accounts.
Stakeholder & Risk Management
-
Oversee operational and business risks during customer solution implementation.
Onboarding
-
Collect necessary documentation and secure approvals for seamless onboarding.
Merchant Visits & Support
-
Conduct daily merchant visits to ensure POS machines and systems are functional.

Encourage and drive usage of merchant services.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
-
Prepare weekly product performance and utilization reports.
-
Conduct cost-benefit analyses and initiate cost-reduction strategies.
Revenue Management
-
Monitor GL accounts to prevent leakages and report revenue performance.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent qualification).

Minimum 1 year of sales experience.

Knowledge of banking products and operations.
