Job Summary
Ecobank Tanzania is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to lead business growth, strengthen client relationships, and drive operational excellence at the branch level. The ideal candidate will have a strong banking background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to deliver on financial and strategic targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Performance

Achieve sales, revenue, deposits, and risk asset targets.

Deliver branch budget and maintain efficient cost/income ratios.

Manage branch costs effectively, both direct and indirect.
Relationship Management & Customer Service

Ensure customer service excellence and client satisfaction.

Retain high-performing clients while growing share of wallet in the target market.
People Management

Build, lead, and coach a high-performing team.

Foster productivity, efficiency, and professional growth.
Operations, Process & Controls

Ensure compliance with operational risk policies, KYC, and risk management procedures.

Maintain branch layout and operational standards.
Strategic Initiatives

Expand market reach in line with approved strategies.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in relationship management and branch operations.

Strong leadership, analytical, and customer service skills.
