JUNIOR CHEF
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness meets set standard.
- Assist in stock taking and ordering.
- All kitchen and storerooms must meet the cleanliness standard.
- The Kitchen ovens and stoves need to be kept clean at the end of each day and deep cleaned once a week.
- All the kitchen equipment and areas around the kitchen must be thoroughly cleaned.
- Wash and clean all kitchen equipment, plates, cutlery, and glasses etc. that are used throughout shift in a safe and responsible manner to avoid unnecessary breakages.
- Clean all the fridges and remove spoilt fresh produce daily:
- Assist with the evening service:
- Make sure that the bar and front of house are stocked with glasses, cutlery and crockery, tea cups and saucers etc. at all times.
- Clean the kitchen floor and sweep the areas outside the kitchen at the end of shift:
- Removing leaves and picking up rubbish around the kitchen area, including the back of the kitchen where the gas bottles are kept.
- Report any maintenance, equipment repairs, and replacements needed immediately to management:
- Preparing team meals
REQUIREMENTS
A certificate in Food Production
At least 1 year experience in the kitchen
