Title: Manager/Sr. Manager, Youth Empowerment

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Quality Assurance
-
Provide hands-on technical support to BI country teams on adolescent and youth-related programs.
-
Develop and roll out life skills curriculum, operational guidelines, and SOPs.
-
Conduct field visits to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
-
Establish monitoring systems to assess program quality and effectiveness.
Programme Development
-
Assess context, needs, and opportunities to design innovative youth programs.
-
Contribute to project design, concept notes, proposals, and budget preparation.
-
Represent BI in donor and partner meetings.
Grants Management
-
Support grant kick-off and review meetings.
-
Monitor donor reporting, budget reviews, and implementation of action plans.
Capacity Building
-
Plan and facilitate capacity-strengthening activities for youth project staff.

Promote cross-country sharing of best practices.
Advocacy & Partnerships
-
Support engagement with government stakeholders, donors, and partners.
-
Document and share program learnings in forums and conferences.
Safeguarding
-
Ensure youth programs uphold safety, dignity, and protection principles.

Actively participate in safeguarding initiatives and report any incidents.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Youth Development, Education, Social Science, Development Studies, International Development, Gender Studies, or Community Development.

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in NGOs (preferably adolescent and youth programs).
Skills & Competencies

Strong technical expertise in youth empowerment and life skills curriculum.

Knowledge of development challenges in Asia and Africa.
-
Experience linking youth programs to economic opportunities and decent work.
-
Proven ability in capacity building, mentorship, and participatory approaches.
-
Excellent report writing, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
-
Skilled in building partnerships with donors, governments, and private sector actors.
-
Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google productivity tools.
-
Experience supervising geographically dispersed teams.
