MOTORBIKE GENERAL ASSISTANT
Scope of Work
The Motorbike/General Assistant will provide logistical and operational support to the company by ensuring timely delivery of products, running errands, and assisting in day-to-day administrative and production-related duties.
Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver goods, documents, and supplies using a company motorbike or light vehicle
- Run company errands, including banking, procurement, and document submissions
- Support general office or production duties, including stock handling, cleaning, and filing
- Maintain delivery logs and ensure proper care of the company’s delivery vehicle/motorbike
- Report mechanical issues or service needs promptly
- Support setup during events, exhibitions, or market days
Qualification & Experience
- Valid Class B and motorbike driver’s license
- Minimum of BGCSE
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of routes within Gaborone and surrounding areas
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety standards
- Competency Skills
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Good mental and physical fitness
- Strong communication skills in both English and Setswana
- Customer service orientation and professional attitude
