Duties and Responsibilities:
i. Typing letters, reports, and ordinary and confidential documents;
ii. Receiving visitors, addressing their concerns, and directing them to where they can get assistance;
iii. Keeping records of events, appointments, meeting dates, the supervisor’s travel schedules, and other work plans;
iv. Retrieving files and documents required for task execution;
v. Receiving and distributing files to officers in the relevant department/unit/section;
vi. Collecting, storing, and returning files and documents to their respective places;
vii. Preparing summaries and making arrangements for various meetings;
viii. Preparing a list of office equipment requirements; and
ix. Performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience:
Applicants must have completed Form Four or Form Six and hold a Diploma in Secretarial Studies or an NTA Level 6 Certificate in Secretarial Studies. Additionally, they must have passed Swahili and English shorthand at 80 words per minute and be proficient in office computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, and Publisher from any government-recognized institution.
