Available Positions
1. Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Align HR initiatives with business strategies through strategic branding.
- Oversee Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, and Employee Initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, HR regulations, and best practice standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes emotional intelligence and adaptability in high-pressure settings.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field from a recognized institution; a postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Certifications such as CIPD or CHRM are desirable.
- Experience in a financial institution or busy corporate environment with a focus on HR trends and transformation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing people, systems, and culture change for performance.
2. Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead revenue-generating strategies across multiple customer segments.
- Drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Align commercial operations with strategic business plans.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and market expansion.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Commerce (Economics and Marketing) or a related field from a reputable institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Strategic Management or equivalent from a recognized, accredited university.
- Professional certification from the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII/ACII) or equivalent international insurance designation.
- Proven experience in the insurance, financial services, or related sectors, with at least 5 years in an executive role focused on strategy formulation and implementation.
- Record of driving transformational growth, developing and executing strategic commercial plans across multiple geographies and customer segments.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performance teams, foster innovation, and lead organizational change with integrity, excellence, and vision.
3. Legal Counsel (In-House)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice to business functions to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Handle litigation and intellectual property protection.
- Deliver compliance training across the organization.
- Ensure timely and accurate contract turnaround.
- Manage efficient dispute resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Conduct proactive risk assessment and mitigation.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; an LLM or Postgraduate Diploma in Law is an advantage.
- Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania.
- Experience in in-house legal roles, preferably in the insurance or financial services industries.
- Strong integrity, business judgment, and strategic thinking.
4. Lead Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Link IT solutions with business requirements for solution design, development, and implementation.
- Analyze business processes to identify and implement business innovations for efficiency.
- Align business needs with technology capabilities.
- Monitor and communicate IT investment, costs, and value delivered to the business.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in IT management within the general insurance industry is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical and professional skills in development languages such as PHP, Java, JavaScript, and Python to effectively engage with technical teams.
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL and Oracle.
- Ability to effectively engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders at all levels.
