About RFB
RFB produces over 60 product lines, focusing on consistent, high-quality products while maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste. As operations expand, we are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Quality Control Manager to strengthen production output standards and ensure operational excellence across the value chain. The role reports to the CEO and works closely with the Production Manager, Food Safety Manager, Management Accountant, and Procurement & Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and enforce quality control protocols and SOPs for raw materials and finished products.

Monitor production output against quality benchmarks (weights, sizes, filling ratios, consistency, appearance).

Track raw material yield efficiency, ensuring optimum utilization and minimal wastage.

Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure portioning, weights, and consistency meet standards.

Identify deviations in product quality and lead corrective and preventive actions.

Evaluate production wastage and recommend efficiency improvements.

Collaborate with the Food Safety Manager to ensure HACCP, ISO22000, and GMP compliance.

Train supervisors and line staff on portion control, measuring practices, and SOP adherence.

Monitor and document customer feedback or complaints related to product quality and follow up with corrective measures.

Provide daily and weekly reports on product consistency, yield, and efficiency.

Support New Product Development by setting output quality benchmarks during trials and scale-up.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in quality control or production supervision.

Strong understanding of production yield, portion control, and efficiency management.

Experience in setting up traceability systems in food processing industries.

Knowledge of HACCP, ISO22000, GMP and other food safety systems is advantageous.

Proven ability to implement SOPs, train teams, and enforce standards in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and hands-on skills.

Practical and hands-on, spending time on the production floor to ensure standards are met.
