Lecturer Positions

  • Law (5 Posts)
    Entry Qualification and Experience: 

    • Holder of PhD in the field of Law from an accredited Higher Learning Institution.
    • Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Law from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 and above.
    • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Law from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.5 and above).
    • Proof of sufficient publications in the areas of specialization.
    • Working experience of not less than 3-5 years in teaching, research, and publications.
  • Tourism and Hospitality Management (4 Posts)
    Entry Qualification and Experience: 

    • Holder of PhD in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management from an accredited Higher Learning Institution.
    • Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 and above.
    • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.5 and above).
    • Proof of sufficient publications in the areas of specialization.
    • Working experience of not less than 3-5 years in teaching, research, and publications (2 years for 2 of the posts).
  • Mass Communication (2 Posts)
    Entry Qualification and Experience: 

    • Holder of PhD in the field of Mass Communication from an accredited Higher Learning Institution.
    • Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Mass Communication from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 and above.
    • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Mass Communication from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.5 and above).
    • Proof of sufficient publications in the areas of specialization.
    • Working experience of not less than 3-5 years in teaching, research, and publications.
  • Sociology (2 Posts)
    Entry Qualification and Experience: 

    • Holder of PhD in the field of Sociology from an accredited Higher Learning Institution.
    • Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Sociology from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 and above.
    • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Sociology from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.5 and above).
    • Proof of sufficient publications in the areas of specialization.
    • Working experience of not less than 3-5 years in teaching, research, and publications.

Assistant Lecturer Positions

  • Law (10 Posts)
    Entry Qualification and Experience: 

    • Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Law from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 or above.
    • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Law from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.5 or above).
    • Applicant must have working experience of not less than 2 years in teaching, research, and publications.
  • Public Relations and Advertising (3 Posts)
    Entry Qualification and Experience:

    • Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Public Relations or Marketing from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 or above.
    • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Public Relations and Marketing from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.5 or above).
    • Applicant must have working experience of not less than 2 years in teaching, research, and publications.
  • Tourism and Hospitality Management (5 Posts)
    Entry Qualification and Experience: 

    • Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 or above.
    • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.5 or above).
    • Applicant must have working experience of not less than 2 years in teaching, research, and publications.
  • Sociology (5 Posts)
    Entry Qualification and Experience: 

    • Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Sociology from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 or above.
    • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Sociology from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.5 or above).
    • Applicant must have working experience of not less than 2 years in teaching, research, and publications.
  • Procurement and Logistics Management (3 Posts)
    Entry Qualification and Experience: 

    • Holder of a Master Degree in the field of Procurement and Logistics/Supply Management from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with a GPA 4.0 or above.
    • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in the field of Procurement and Logistics/Supply Management from an accredited Higher Learning Institution (First class, or Upper second class, with a GPA 3.5 or above).
    • Applicant must have working experience of not less than 2 years in teaching, research, and publications.

General Attributes for Academic Positions

  • Ability to design, set, administer, and supervise different assessment items.
  • Ability to supervise field practices and undergraduate/postgraduate special projects/researches.
  • Ability to mark student scripts and coursework assessment items and provide feedback.
  • Ability to carry out consultancies and community engagement activities.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver own teaching materials, conduct tutorials, seminars for undergraduate/postgraduate programmes.
  • Ability to carry out independent research and publish.
  • Ability to supervise research and other knowledge and skills development activities.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff in the relevant fields.

Professional Secretary (5 Posts)

Entry Qualification for Secretary Post:

  • Holder of a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Secretarial Services from an accredited Higher Academic Institution.
  • Work experience is an added advantage.

General Attributes for Secretarial Position:

  • Ability to perform any other related duties as may be assigned by one’s reporting officer.
  • Ability to arrange and attend meetings where necessary and write minutes.
  • Ability to take proper care of work facilities and equipment.
  • Ability to keep minutes/records of meetings.
  • Ability to coordinate office needs and requirements.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters.

Terms of Employment

Successful candidates will be employed on contractual terms of three (3) years (renewable). However, the offer of employment confirmation shall be made after satisfactory completion of the first year of probation.

Remuneration

Attractive remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates as per salary scale of the position applied for.
