Job Vacancy – Senior People & Culture (PnC) Business Partner – Payroll

Purpose of the Role

The Senior PnC Business Partner – Payroll is responsible for coordinating and managing employee compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing, compliance, system management, and related HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing & Compliance

  • Process local payroll up to payslip level.

  • Handle payments for interns, temporary staff, and statutory contributions (ZRA, NAPSA, NHIS).

  • Perform reconciliations and maintain compliance with government requirements.

Workday System Management

  • Maintain and optimize the Workday HR system.

  • Manage employee contracts, system customizations, reports, and data security.

  • Recommend system improvements and implement solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Process employee compensation claims and insurance-related benefits.

  • Monitor medical schemes, group life, personal accident covers, and employee savings plans.

  • Advise employees on benefits and maintain accurate records.

Administration & Customer Service

  • Maintain HR files and digital records.

  • Respond to employee queries and support branches on PnC matters.

  • Manage leave, allowances, relocation, education expenses, and other HR payments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; ACCA/ZICA is an advantage.

  • Experience with payroll systems (preferably Dove Payroll).

  • Good understanding of ZRA domestic taxes and regulations.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Strong HR administration, people management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, email, and business communication tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
