SHADE NETTING FOREMAN
Job Summary
The Shade Netting Foreman – Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the inspection, repair, and upkeep of extruders, knitting machines and related auxiliary equipment within the manufacturing facility. The foreman will ensure that all equipment remain safe, functional and compliant with internal and industry standards. The role includes hands-on maintenance tasks and supervision of production and maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule and perform routine maintenance of shade netting plant.

Inspect equipment for wear, corrosion and weather-related damages.

Oversee the inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance of shade netting manufacturing equipment and its components.

Manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules.

Identify and troubleshoot structural faults, wear-and-tear, and material degradation.

Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety protocols.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and service records.

Coordinate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Ensure availability and proper use of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

Train team members on maintenance procedures, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a maintenance foreman or supervisory role, preferably in shade netting manufacturing facility.

Technical knowledge of industrial and agricultural shade netting systems.

Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

Ability to read layout plans, and mechanical and electrical drawings.

Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude toward maintenance.

Working knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing diagrams.
