SITE ENGINEER
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Site Energy Engineer to optimize energy efficiency, reduce consumption, and drive sustainability initiatives at our site. You’ll play a key role in cutting operational costs, integrating renewables, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities

Energy Monitoring & Analysis:
Track and analyze energy consumption (electricity, gas, water) using advanced metering and IoT systems. Identify inefficiencies and develop actionable strategies. -
Renewable Energy Integration:
Oversee the installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems (solar PV, battery, wind). Ensure energy compliance with green building certifications (LEED, BREEAM, ISO 50001). -
Sustainability Compliance:
Implement energy policies in line with local and international regulations (e.g., carbon reduction targets). Conduct energy audits and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders. -
HVAC & Lighting Optimization:
Recommend and manage upgrades to HVAC, insulation, and lighting systems (e.g., LED retrofits, smart controls). Utilize automation technologies (BMS, smart sensors) to enhance efficiency. -
Project Management:
Lead energy-saving projects from inception to completion, working with contractors, engineers, and utility providers for monitoring budgets, timelines, and ROI for efficiency initiatives. -
Training & Engagement:
Educate site teams and tenants on best practices for energy conservation.
Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Energy Engineering, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. -
Experience:
2+ years in energy management, construction sustainability, or industrial efficiency. -
Technical Skills:
Energy modeling tools (EnergyPlus, RETScreen) and data analysis. Knowledge of electrical grids, HVAC systems, and renewable tech (solar/wind). -
Certifications (Advantageous):
CEM, LEED AP, PMP, or similar. -
Soft Skills:
Project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication.
