About CCTTFA

The Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency is a multilateral body formed by seven member states (Burundi, DRC, Rwanda, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia) to coordinate and enhance transit transport along the Central Corridor.

Role Purpose

To ensure transparent, efficient, and value-for-money procurement in line with CCTTFA policies, international best practices, and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all procurement and disposal activities of the Agency.
Prepare and update the Annual Procurement Plan.
Draft, review, and update bidding and contract documents.
Coordinate bid openings, evaluation committees, and award processes.
Maintain a procurement register and proper filing systems.
Monitor contract performance and manage renewals or closeouts.
Provide procurement activity reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Train staff on procurement rules, compliance, and ethics.
Support procurement audits and donor reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional certification in procurement (CIPS, PSPTB, or equivalent) – mandatory.
Min. 3 years experience in public or institutional procurement (including end-to-end execution).
Knowledge of donor-funded project procurement is an advantage.
Familiarity with regional/international procurement standards (EAC, SADC, COMESA, AfDB, World Bank) desirable.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, procurement software).
Fluent in English; French or Swahili an advantage.
