About the Role

ZAMLUBES, a leading distributor of oils and lubricants in Zambia, is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to strengthen the company’s image as a lubrication and oil technical expert. The role involves technical strategy planning, customer engagement, sales support, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Technical Lead in all lubrication and oil-related matters.

• Develop and implement customer engagement plans to achieve sales targets.

• Approve technical aspects of marketing communications and documents.

• Assist in managing the company website and social media platforms with technical input.

• Conduct technical market research and develop proof-of-performance marketing documents.

• Develop and manage product line strategies aligned with OEM and customer requirements.

• Prepare presentations, proposals, and action plans targeting specific customers.

• Conduct client visits, follow-ups, and technical engagements.

• Develop and implement client relationship plans.

• Identify and resolve client queries and develop customer value propositions.

• Lead business development, sales, marketing, public relations, and reporting activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

• Certified and licensed Mechanical/Chemical Engineer.

• 3–5 years of experience in Mechanical/Chemical engineering roles, preferably with a focus on Lubrication Engineering.
