As part of Platcorp Holdings Limited, the company has operations in Kenya and Uganda. We are now inviting applications for a Trainee Accountant to join our finance team at the Head Office in Dar es Salaam.

Role Overview
The Trainee Accountant will support the finance department in day-to-day accounting operations, financial record-keeping, and reporting. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates seeking practical experience and growth in accounting and finance within the microfinance sector.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.

Support preparation of financial statements and reports.

Help in processing invoices, receipts, and payments.

Participate in account reconciliations and internal audits.

Support budget tracking and other finance-related activities as required.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Strong interest in accounting and finance, with willingness to learn.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical skills.
