TRAINER – MECHANICAL
Job Summary
Reporting to Operational Readiness Lead, the Trainer – Mechanical is responsible for conducting training needs, developing, implementing, and maintaining appropriate training programs for mechanical trades personnel in an underground mining environment. This role ensures that all mechanical maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Establishes and conducts training need analysis

Training delivery

Training administration

Apply appropriate training methodologies aligned to OEM requirements

Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of training and development programmes

Facilitates on the job and experimental training

Safety, health and environmental compliance
Qualifications & Experience
-
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

At least 5 years’ post qualification experience in Training & Development.

Train the Trainer and Assessor certificates from recognized training institutions, either BQA or SAQA aligned.

Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

Registration with BQA.
