Bid Notice Under Open Domestic Bidding
Supply and Upgrade of Exciter Control System
– Isimba HPP – UEGCL/SPLS/24-25/21884
Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has received funds to be used for the supply and Upgrade of Exciter Control System – Isimba HPP.
The Entity invites sealed folds from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. Bloking will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic holding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, CAP 2025 as amended and Regulations 2023, and is open to all bidders. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the blading documents at the address given between: 9.00am and 4.00pm.
The Bloking documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USX 100,000* (Uganda Shilling One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will on UEGCL Isimba Hydro Power Plant Operation and Maintenance AC No. 903001867036, Stanche Bank** upon which you shall be presented with a bank slip as proof of payment. The document may be picked by the bidder from UEGCL Office.
Bids must be delivered to the address below or of before 1/10/0am of Wednesday 14 August, 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of USX 7,500,000* (Uganda Shilling Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand Only). Bid securities must be valid until Tuesday 30 December 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend 10:10am of Wednesday 13 August, 2025.
There shall not be a pre – bid meeting.
