Boda Boda Delivery Driver
Location: Dar es Salaam – Mbezi Beach, Mbweni, Bunju, Tegeta, Mikocheni, Masaki, Oysterbay, and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract
Reports to: Transport Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable motorcycle delivery driver to deliver goods to customers accurately and on time. The candidate must be familiar with various areas of Dar es Salaam and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver goods according to the schedule
- Use mobile maps like Google Maps for efficient navigation
- Handle goods with care
- Communicate effectively with the supervisor or transport unit
- Collect payments or proof of delivery when required
- Ensure the motorcycle is clean and in good condition
- Adhere to traffic regulations and road safety
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience riding a motorcycle for delivery (at least 1 year preferred)
- Good knowledge of roads and areas in Dar es Salaam
- Ability to use a smartphone for communication and route tracking
- Ability to handle simple documentation and keep records
- Good physical health and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Honest and cooperative with customers
- Basic understanding of motorcycle maintenance
- Experience delivering items such as food, groceries, or online products is an advantage
