Key Responsibilities
Debt Collection Management

Develop, implement, and monitor effective debt collection strategies while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Manage Call Centre operations, including oversight of collection officers and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Review delinquent accounts, assign follow-up actions, and track collection performance metrics.

Train and mentor staff to enhance negotiation, customer handling, and efficiency.

Utilize resources effectively, including autodial systems where applicable.
Telesales Management

Lead the telesales team to achieve sales targets across Mogo Credit’s product portfolio.

Improve telesales scripts, pitches, and strategies to maximize conversions.

Implement CRM and call management best practices to ensure effective follow-ups.

Develop cross-selling and upselling strategies for existing customers.
Team Leadership & Performance Management

Set clear performance targets for both debt collection and telesales teams.

Provide coaching, training, and development plans to build high-performing teams.

Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Operational & Strategic Management

Align collection and telesales strategies with company goals.

Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and lead operational efficiency projects.

Prepare regular reports on recovery rates, sales conversions, and team KPIs for management.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).

5+ years of proven experience in debt collection and telesales management, preferably in financial services or microfinance.

Strong knowledge of debt recovery regulations and telesales best practices.

Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong leadership with experience managing cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and reporting tools.

Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
