Loan Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Loan Officer to join our team. The Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, disbursing loans, and managing client relationships to ensure timely repayments and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess loan applications and conduct creditworthiness evaluations

Approve or recommend loans within set limits

Monitor loan repayments and follow up on overdue payments

Build and maintain relationships with clients in assigned areas

Educate clients on loan terms and financial literacy

Prepare reports on loan performance and client feedback

Work with other teams to ensure smooth loan processing and compliance
Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Proven experience in loan processing or credit management (preferably in microfinance)

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
