Laboratory Technologist – Mobile
The overall purpose of the job:
- Reporting to the Laboratory Services Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for sample collection and testing from the comfort of clients/patients’ location as per the standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection and processing of client samples.
- Communication of laboratory results.
- Preparation of laboratory reports.
- Grow the uptake of wellness checks, including growing Home/Office collections as per the targets.
- Drive laboratory revenue.
- Implementation of ISO 15189:2022 guidelines.
- Delivery of pharmaceutical products to clients.
Position Requirements:
- A diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board
- Demonstrated capability of riding motorcycles; with a valid riding license.
- At least two (2) years of appropriate experience in medical laboratory functions.
- Experience in implementation of ISO 15189 standard is an added advantage
- ICT competency.
