Responsibilities
- Product Data Management: Accurately adding new and updating existing pet products on the Petsasa Kenya website.
- Content Creation: Crafting clear, concise, and engaging product names and descriptions that highlight key features and benefits for pet owners.
- Image Management: Uploading, optimizing, and organizing high-quality product images to ensure visual appeal and adherence to website standards.
- SKU Assignment: Assigning and managing Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) for new and existing products to ensure seamless inventory tracking.
- Product Categorization: Correctly categorizing products to ensure easy navigation for customers on our website.
- SEO Optimization: Implementing basic SEO best practices for product listings, including keyword integration in titles and descriptions, to improve search engine visibility.
- Quality Assurance: Reviewing existing and new product listings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a high-quality user experience.
- Research: Conducting basic market research on pet product trends and competitor listings to inform our content strategy.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Communication, E‑commerce, BBIT or related field
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- High self drive and motivation to solve problem under minimal supervision.
- Above average computer literacy.
Customer Care Intern
Responsibilities
- Responding to Customer Inquiries: Promptly and professionally addressing customer questions and concerns via various channels including phone, WhatsApp, email, and social media.
- Order Support: Assisting customers with order status inquiries, delivery schedules, payment queries, and basic technical support related to website navigation or account issues.
- Problem Resolution: Listening actively to customer feedback and complaints, identifying their needs, and providing accurate, timely, and empathetic solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Developing a comprehensive understanding of Petsasa Kenya’s products and services to accurately advise customers and recommend suitable items for their pets.
- Feedback Collection: Gathering customer feedback to identify common issues and suggest improvements to products, services, or processes.
- Returns & Refunds: Guiding customers through the return and refund process according to company policy.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the logistics, inventory, and rest of the teams to resolve complex customer issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor‘s degree in Customer Service, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
- A genuinely empathetic and patient approach to customer interactions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Familiarity with retail or e-commerce is an advantage.

Supply Chain Internship
Key Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will gain exposure to various critical aspects of our e-commerce supply chain, including:
Demand Planning & Inventory Support:
- Assisting in analyzing sales data to help forecast product demand.
- Supporting the monitoring of inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock.
- Aiding in inventory reconciliation and cycle counts.
Sourcing & Vendor Coordination:
- Assisting in research and evaluation of potential new suppliers for pet products.
- Supporting communication with existing vendors regarding orders and deliveries.
- Helping to maintain accurate vendor information.
Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations:
- Assisting with the receiving, inspection, and shelving of incoming goods.
- Learning and participating in the order picking and packing processes for online shipments.
- Supporting warehouse organization and efficiency initiatives.
Outbound Logistics & Delivery Support:
- Picking and packing online orders, and preparing them for shipment to customers.
- Aiding in the coordination for timely dispatch and delivery of orders.
- Assisting in tracking shipments and resolving minor delivery issues.
- Learning about optimizing delivery routes and methods.
Returns & Reverse Logistics (Support):
- Assisting in processing customer returns and exchanges.
- Supporting the assessment and re-stocking or disposal of returned items.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Problem-Solver with Initiative: Eager to identify challenges and propose solutions, showing a proactive approach to task completion.
