Accounts Assistant I – Locum
Academic Qualification
- The candidate must have a Diploma in Business Administration or its equivalent from a recognized Institution, with bias in Accounting and Finance.
Professional Qualifications
The candidate must have the following:
- Have CPA I (Section 2) or its equivalent
- Have knowledge of ERP (Enterprises Resource Planning)
Experience
The candidate must have four (4) years of relevant work experience, three (3) of which is at level of Accounts Assistant II or comparable position, with proven integrity, honesty, independence, innovativeness and compliance to deadlines.
In addition, the candidate should have experience in the following;
- Assist in Management of student finance data
- Assist in Preparation of asset register
- Assist in Preparation of bank reconciliation
- Assist in Preparation of budget
- Assist in Preparation of payments vouchers
- Assist in Reconciliation of debtors/ creditors
- Filing of accountable documents
- Undertake banking of receipts as per regulations

Lecturer in Nursing (Medical and Surgical)
REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION OF LECTURER IN NURSING (MEDICAL AND SURGICAL) GRADE 12
- Appointment to this position is either on Permanent and Pensionable terms or on a three (3) year renewable performance-based contract, depending on age, citizenship, or any other reason

- A Masters Degree in Nursing (Medical and Surgical) or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University
Experience
The candidate should:
- Be registered with the relevant professional body
- Have evidence of contribution to University/Research Institution through activities such as participation in Departmental management, students’ academic /research advising, school or University/Institutional meetings, committee membership and related matters
- Demonstrate community involvement (eg. Member of BOG, SMC etc).

Publications

Laboratory Technician II
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION OF LABORATORY TECHNICIAN II GRADE 7
- This is a middle level in this cadre in the University and appointment shall be on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Council from time to time depending on age, citizenship or any other reason as may be stipulated in the Kenyan Labour Laws.
Academic Qualification
- The candidate must have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Biology or its equivalent from an accredited and recognised institution.
Experience
- The candidate must have a minimum of seven (7) years working experience three (3) of which should be at the level of Assistant Laboratory Technician I or comparable grade with proven integrity, honesty, independence, innovativeness and compliance to deadlines.
Main tasks, duties and responsibilities;
- Performing daily laboratory workflows.
- Monitoring equipment performance, carrying out routine preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs/replacements, and maintaining service logs.
- Tracking stock levels of reagents and consumables; preparing requisitions; following up on deliveries; managing cold-chain logistics.
- Ensuring all activities adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and University research policies.
- Maintaining accurate lab notebooks, reagent logs and instrument usage records for transparency and audit readiness.
- Assisting students and researchers with laboratory logistics.
- Participating in data recording and contributing to routine lab coordination meetings.
