The Director of Tarime Town Council is pleased to announce four (04) permanent job vacancies for all Tanzanian citizens who meet the required qualifications. This announcement follows the receipt of an official permit for new employment for the 2024/2025 financial year, with Reference No. FA.97/288/01/A/25 dated April 29, 2025, from the Permanent Secretary, President’s Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance.

POST COOK CLASS II – 2 POSTS

EMPLOYER Tarime Town Council

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Cleaning the kitchen;

ii. Cooking a variety of foods;

iii. Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean;

iv. Preparing a list of foods for a balanced diet;

v. Cooking professional foods;

vi. Ensuring that food is prepared on time;

vii. Ensuring kitchen and food safety; and

viii. Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Employment of Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI) graduates with a Diploma/Technician Certificate in the field of Food Production/Culinary Arts from any Government-recognized College.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Kukagua gari kabla na baada ya safari ili kubaini hali ya usalama wa gari;
Kuwapeleka watumishi maeneo mbalimbali kwenye safari za kikazi;
Kufanya matengenezo madogo madogo ya gari;
Kukusanya na kusambaza nyaraka mbalimbali;
Kujaza na kutunza taarifa za safari zote katika daftari la safari;
Kufanya usafi wa gari; na
Kufanya kazi nyingine kadri atakavyoelekezwa na Msimamizi wake.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Mwombaji awe na Cheti cha Kidato cha Nne (Form IV) na Leseni ya Daraja E au C ya uendeshaji magari ambayo amefanyia kazi kwa muda usiopungua mwaka mmoja bila kusababisha ajali. Awe amehudhuria mafunzo ya msingi ya Ufundi Stadi (VETA) au Chuo kingine kinachotambuliwa na Serikali.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ALL APPLICANTS:

i. The applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen, aged between 18 and 45 years.

ii. The applicant must not have any criminal record or conviction.

iii. All applicants must attach certified copies of academic and professional certificates, including Form IV and/or Form VI certificates, certified by a Magistrate or an Advocate recognized by the Government.

iv. All applicants must attach a certified copy of their birth certificate, certified by a Magistrate or an Advocate recognized by the Government.

v. All applicants must submit a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) including their postal address, reliable phone numbers, names of three referees, and one recent passport-size photo (with full names written on the back).

vi. Testimonials, Provisional Results Slips, Statements of Results, and Form IV and Form VI results slips without official certificates, as well as transcripts not accompanied by certificates, will not be accepted.

vii. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (NECTA or NACTE).

viii. Applicants who are currently employed in entry-level positions in the Public Service are not allowed to apply for these positions.

ix. Applicants who have retired from Public Service for any reason are not allowed to apply for these positions.

x. Applicants who submit forged certificates or false information will face strict legal action by the responsible authorities.

xi. Applicants for the position of Driver Grade II with driving license Class E or C must attach valid training certificates that qualify them for those specific classes.

xii. All applications must be written in Kiswahili.

xiii. All applicants must attach a copy of their National ID (NIDA) or provide their National Identification Number, issued by the National Identification Authority (NIDA).

xiv. Deadline for receiving applications is 11/08/2025.
