Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Projects Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects. The role involves managing multiple projects to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timelines, while upholding quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
Supervise project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
Oversee procurement of materials, plant, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Prepare and present regular project progress reports to management and clients.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain effective communication and satisfaction.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Support business development by contributing technical input for tenders and project proposals.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management.
(Postgraduate qualifications will be an advantage.)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management within the engineering or construction industry.
Professional membership with EIZ or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Proven experience in managing budgets, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or other project management tools.
Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
