Job Purpose

The Solution Architect will be responsible for translating the company’s digital vision into practical solution designs, ensuring smooth integration across business capabilities, APIs, and technical enablers. The role involves providing technical leadership, managing architectural compliance, and supporting delivery teams to achieve both business and technical outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

Translate overall digital vision and target architecture into solution designs and change requirements.
Design end-to-end solutions, including cross-domain integration and APIs.
Define non-functional, operational, and quality requirements for solutions.
Collaborate with delivery teams to plan and release technical stories.
Provide architectural guidance and ensure alignment with standards.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Manage technical debt and technology obsolescence at the solution level.
Evaluate and promote adoption of new technologies.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

Expertise in solution architecture and end-to-end design.
Strong knowledge of technical enablers, integration APIs, and infrastructure design.
Experience in agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD).
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Knowledge of DevOps practices, automation, and emerging technologies (AI, ML, Big Data).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with multiple DevOps teams and business stakeholders.
Understanding of telecommunications and digital services industries is an added advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in at least three disciplines such as solution architecture, application development, middleware, database management, or IT operations.
Exposure to diverse technologies and processing environments.
Strong experience in business capability modeling and solution development in digital contexts.
