1. Field Operations Manager (Ref: 25/25)

Reports to: Chief Operations Officer

Purpose: Lead VFT’s branch operations, ensuring targets for loans, deposits, and performance are met. Integrate operations with World Vision Area Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee branch operations via Regional & Business Center Managers.

  • Mentor and coach regional teams; implement performance management systems.

  • Ensure compliance with banking laws and internal policies.

  • Monitor financial performance, reporting, and branch profitability.

  • Drive business development and market research.

  • Manage credit risk: maintain PAR <5%, loan loss <2%.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 5+ years in senior operational management in banking/MFI.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of MSME market in Tanzania.

2. Compliance Manager (Ref: 26/25)

Reports to: Head of Risk and Compliance

Purpose: Ensure full regulatory and policy compliance, support AML/CFT, and embed a culture of compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regulatory compliance with BAFIA, AML/CFT, KYC, labor, and data protection laws.

  • Conduct compliance monitoring, reviews, and gap analysis.

  • Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures.

  • Lead training and awareness programs.

  • Advise senior management on emerging regulatory risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Law, Finance, Risk, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years in banking compliance, audit, or legal roles.

  • Professional certifications preferred: CPA, ACCA, CAMS, CISA, ICA.

  • Strong analytical, investigative, and advisory skills.

3. Business Centre Manager (Ref: 27/25)

Reports to: Regional Manager

Purpose: Ensure efficient branch operations, promote VFT products, and oversee loan approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage branch/business center operations and personnel.

  • Develop business plans and monitor KPIs.

  • Chair Branch Credit Committee and review loan approvals.

  • Ensure timely reporting and compliance with policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Master’s preferred).

  • 5 years’ experience in credit management, savings, and deposit operations.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and English communication skills.

4. Finance Officer (Reconciliation Officer) (Ref: 28/25)

Reports to: Finance Manager

Purpose: Perform reconciliations (60%) and follow-up on outstanding items, budgeting, and treasury activities (40%).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly bank and daily MNO reconciliations.

  • Monitor suspense accounts; prepare quarterly write-offs or income recognition.

  • Ensure adequate funding of VFT Wallets.

  • Conduct due diligence with banks and MNOs; participate in liquidity stress testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Banking, Finance, or Accounting. CPA preferred.

  • 3+ years’ experience in finance/accounting or VFT MFB.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and MS Office skills.
